How did we get your personal data?
We have obtained your personal data directly from you or your employer, or from publicly available registers and registries, such as the portal www.justice.cz, the administrative register of economic entities, the trade register, the real estate cadastre, the web form (www.bruco. cz) – demand for work, demand for services.
Why and for what purpose do we collect personal data about you?
We process your personal data because it is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract with you (or for the implementation of measures taken before concluding such a contract), and we also process your personal data which is necessary for the fulfillment of our public law obligations.
We therefore need and process your personal data for the purpose of concluding a contract, an insurance contract in the event of its conclusion, purchases, delivery of goods and services, as well as for the implementation of the work and delivery to the specified location, resolution of liability for defects, communication with you and for the fulfillment of the obligations of by law, especially in relation to the archiving of documents and accounting. We also process personal data for the purpose of sending advertising brochures and newsletters, for this purpose we have included you in our database of customers and business partners. However, we send these offers exceptionally and only if you are our customer.
We also process your personal data for the purposes of possible complaints or legal proceedings.
On the basis of which legal title (reason) do we process your personal data?
a) The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the fulfillment of a contract that we have concluded with you or are about to conclude, or concluded with a person who has concluded a contract in your interest.
b) The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the fulfillment of a legal obligation, as the law obliges us to archive certain documents, especially tax documents. This obligation is imposed on us in particular by Act No. 235/2004 Coll., on value added tax, as amended, Act No. 586/1992 Coll., on income taxes, as amended, and Act No. 563/ 1991 Coll., on accounting, as amended, and Act No. 499/2004 Coll., Act on Archiving and File Service and on Amendments to Certain Acts, as amended.
c) The legal basis for the processing of personal data after the balance test is further our legitimate interest. We process personal data in particular:
- for property protection, health and damage prevention
- for the purpose of possibly sending advertising messages and contacting you with an offer of further cooperation
- for processing claims and complaints
- to evaluate your connection with our services
We will also process personal data, even after the end of the contractual relationship, for possible legal proceedings. You can object to this processing - more detailed information is provided at the end of this document, don't forget to read it!
d) The legal basis for the processing of personal data may also be consent, for example if you would like to receive commercial communications, but you have not yet been our client. We do not normally send marketing offers. If we would base the processing of personal data on consent, then consent in such a case is not part of the terms and conditions, but we will always request consent from you separately. You can revoke your consent at any time at the email address: compliance@bruco.cz, or in writing at our address listed above.
Transfer of personal data to third parties
To ensure the purposes described above, personal data are transferred to third parties and are processed by them, on the basis of contracts for the processing of personal data concluded in accordance with the regulation and the law.
The processor, other controller or third party to whom personal data is transferred and processed by them are:

- subcontractors for the purpose of fulfilling the concluded contract
- insurance company
- accounting office due to accounting processing
- IT technician to ensure the smooth operation of information systems
- carrier for handover and delivery of your shipment
- labor agency
- tax advisor
- auditor
Recipients of your personal data processed for the purpose of fulfilling obligations arising from legal regulations may also be financial administration authorities, inspectorates, the Police of the Czech Republic, courts or other competent authorities and state administration authorities in cases where this obligation is imposed on us by generally binding legal regulations.
We do not have a personal data protection officer.
How long do we keep your personal data?
We will process your personal data for the period during which the effects of the rights and obligations from the contract will last.
After the end of the contractual relationship, we will process your personal data for a period of 5 years due to legitimate interest, or one year after the expiration of the statute of limitations, whichever of these periods is longer.
If the law imposes an obligation on us to archive your personal data for a certain period of time, this personal data will be archived and stored for the longest period determined in accordance with generally binding legal regulations.
Do you have to provide us with your personal data?
The provision of personal data and the conclusion of the contract is voluntary, but we need it for the conclusion and performance of the contract. The law also obliges us to process your personal data in relation to accounting documents. If you do not provide us with personal data, we cannot enter into a contract with you.
However, failure to provide your personal data for commercial communications does not affect the possibility of concluding a contract with us.
How can you defend against the processing of personal data by us?
If you do not agree with the processing of personal data by us, you have the option to exercise your rights, which we inform you about below. You can also file a complaint at any time with the Office for the Protection of Personal Data, located in Pplk. In particular, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data if we process it for our legitimate interest, which is most often the sending of commercial communications, maintaining a client database and for possible legal proceedings. We do not process personal data after an objection has been raised, unless we can prove to you that our reasons for processing outweigh your reasons, or we need the data for the determination, exercise or defense of legal claims. If you object to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes, which also includes sending business communications, we will not assess our legitimate interests and will not process your data.
Since we can also process your personal data based on your consent, if you have given it to us, you have the option to withdraw your consent if you no longer wish to send commercial communications, such as catalogues, and these commercial offers will not be sent to you.
What are you entitled to?
1. Right to information
Your main right is the right to information, especially whether, why and how we process your personal data. This is what this document you are reading is for. We do not make automated decisions. If you would like to receive any additional information, please contact us by email: compliance@bruco.cz.
2. Right of access to personal data
You have the right to access your personal data as well as the right to be informed whether and for what purpose we are processing your personal data. We will issue a confirmation of this upon your request. If you wish to exercise this right, please contact us at compliance@bruco.cz.
3. Right to rectification
You have the right to have inaccurate personal data concerning you corrected without undue delay. For this purpose, we ask you to check your personal data on accounting documents, contracts, orders, or in the administration. If you do not have these documents available or if there are any discrepancies, please contact us by email: compliance@bruco.cz. We will correct your personal data immediately.
4. Right to erasure (to be forgotten)
You also have the right to have your personal data deleted if:
- personal data is no longer needed
- withdraw your consent if you have given it to us
- you object to the processing
- we process personal data illegally
- personal data must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation
5. Right to restriction of processing
We will process your personal data to a limited extent if:
- you will deny their accuracy for as long as it takes to verify the accuracy
- we process them illegally, you do not wish to delete them, but only to limit their use
- we do not need personal data, but you require it to determine, exercise or defend legal claims
- you object to the processing, until it is verified whether your or our legitimate interests prevail over the further processing of personal data
6. Right to data portability
The right to data portability means all of your rights contained in Article 20 of the Regulation, in particular the right to receive your personal data provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You also have the right not to be subject to any decision based solely on automated processing.

9. The right to obtain information about a breach of the security of your personal data
If it is likely that a breach of our security will result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you of the breach without undue delay. If the high risk does not manifest itself, we do not have to pass on the information about the breach to you.
10. The right to withdraw consent if the processing is based on consent
You have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of personal data processed by us on the basis of this consent at any time.

Cookie policy
We use cookies to personalize content and ads, provide social media features, and analyze website traffic. We share information about how you use our website with our partners for social media, advertising and analytics. Partners may combine this data with other information you have provided to them or obtained as a result of your use of their services. In Google Analytics, we process user and event data associated with cookies, user identifiers (e.g. User ID) and identifiers for advertising purposes (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID or identifier for advertisers on Apple devices). This data does not allow identification of your person. This data is stored in Google Analytics for up to 50 months, after which the data is automatically deleted. On your next visit to the website, the cookie (if not disabled) will be reset and the time will start counting from the beginning.
We do not send any personally identifiable information to Google Analytics. Sending data such as address, name, email, telephone number or other unique identifier allowing to identify your identity is strictly prohibited in the terms of use of services.
